Job Title: Sr. Cloud Engineer
Contract Duration: 6 months, possible conversion
Location: San Diego, CA
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Pay Range: $62-68/hour depending on benefits selected

Summary
This position is part of a Cloud and Connectivity team focused on developing connected and data-driven solutions for diagnostic technologies. The role involves designing, building, and delivering high-quality software within an Agile environment, contributing to architecture decisions, and ensuring compliance with security and coding standards.
Responsibilities
• Agile Execution: Deliver robust quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detail design documents, well commented) to the planned schedule
• Architectural Contributions: Own design and architecture on individual software components and/or subsystems
• Documentation: Summarizes and presents details of designs in collaborative design reviews
• Security and Compliance: Follows all software coding standards and processes.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to come on site 5 days a week, San Diego office.
• Must have at least 2, prefer 3:
• Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful, APIs, and Event-Driven Architectures
• Proficiency in python 3.8
• Hands on experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Hands on experience with both relational and non-relationship databases
• Experience with Development environment: Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, Git.
• Good understanding of Authentication\Authorization and OAuth 2.0\Open ID Connect standards.
