Cloud Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer for a manufacturing company near Cleveland, OH. This is a contract-to-hire position that requires a hybrid in-office T-Th schedule. Pay/Salary Range: based on your experience: $65-75/hr W2. Job Description: The Sr. Cloud Engineer will join a team to support a new product within this global organization. Your expertise in Cloud (Azure) infrastructure architecture, migration, and management will come into play as you assist the team in designing, documenting, building and supporting infrastructure for centralized databases in the Azure environment. Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field in addition to 6 years of applicable experience. In lieu of degree, 8 years of applicable experience. • MS Azure or Amazon Web Services certification is preferred • Expert level experience in Microsoft Office 265, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, cloud based Storage and Backup solutions; Co-location of data centers, Cloud Extended Networks and Disaster Recovery • Proficiency in FinOps including Cloud Cost Management, Licensing, and savings plans • Knowledge in Access Gateways, load balancing, and web application firewalls • Technical experience with Networking, Security, and Microsoft Server and protocols • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills is required. • Strong organizational, time management, and negotiation skills is required • Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication is required If you are interested in this Sr. Cloud Engineer for a client based in Cleveland, OH, then please click APPLY NOW.
