Role description
We’re looking for a hands-on Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and enterprise cloud architecture. You’ll work closely with engineering teams, lead architectural decisions, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the migration process. Responsibilities: β€’ Design and validate enterprise-grade cloud architectures on GCP β€’ Collaborate with engineering teams to align on architectural decisions β€’ Document architecture and ensure governance compliance β€’ Lead technical solution reviews and validations β€’ Engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption β€’ Apply cloud migration best practices and patterns β€’ Contribute hands-on to Java and microservices development as needed Required Skills: β€’ Proven experience designing and validating cloud architectures in enterprise environments β€’ Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and patterns β€’ Hands-on experience with Java and microservices β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills β€’ Experience in fast-paced, collaborative engineering environments β€’ GCP migration project experience β€’ Strong CI/CD pipeline knowledge Compensation: $55.00/hr to $65.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
