About the Role
Our client, a leading Fortune 500 financial services organization, is seeking Intermediate (3–5 years) and Senior (6–10+ years) Cloud Data Engineers to join their team on a long-term remote contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major cloud migration and ETL modernization initiative.
You will work on building and optimizing cloud-native data pipelines, leveraging AWS services and modern engineering practices to transform and deliver large-scale data solutions.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based ETL pipelines using AWS services.
• Work with Lambda, S3, and Python to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Partner with data architects and analysts to ensure data quality and performance.
• Optimize data processes for scalability and efficiency in a cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in real-time.
Required Skills & Experience
✔ Intermediate Level: 3–5 years of experience in cloud data engineering.
✔ Senior Level: 6–10+ years of experience in cloud data engineering.
Technical Skills:
• AWS Cloud Services: Lambda, S3 (strong hands-on experience).
• Programming: Python (advanced level for data processing).
• Version Control: Git for collaborative development.
• ETL Processes: Experience in designing and implementing ETL workflows in the cloud.
Other Requirements:
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must be able to work Central Time Zone business hours.
