Cloud Engineer [Only USC / GC- W2]

Position: Cloud Engineer Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6–9 Months (Contract-to-Hire) Only U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders. W2 only – No C2C or third-party candidates. Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications in a cloud environment. The role focuses on building and maintaining member-facing platforms hosted on GCP using modern frameworks and DevOps tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong full-stack development background, proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, and experience working with APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments. Must-Have: • Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, NoSQL (MongoDB), and Kafka • Frontend skills with AngularJS/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js • Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Maven, Git, CircleCI • Expertise in API development, integration, and security • Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD pipeline automation • Exposure to Machine Learning/AI tools such as Vertex AI or Gen AI preferred Responsibilities: • Develop and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using Java and GCP. • Build and maintain APIs and microservices for real-time data processing. • Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate builds, testing, and deployments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting. • Monitor and secure applications using tools like Snyk or Nexus.
