Software Engineer β Cloud, Data & Analytics (AWS)
Are you a software engineer who loves solving complex problems and building scalable solutions that actually matter? Weβre partnering with a large, highly respected financial services organization to add a Software Engineer to a team that designs, builds, and supports an enterprise-wide financial data and modeling ecosystem used by actuarial and finance leaders across the business.
This team builds modern solutions in the AWS cloud, integrates with enterprise-grade systems, and operates in a highly collaborative Agile and DevOps environment. If youβre passionate about learning, innovation, and building high-impact systems, this role offers both technical challenge and long-term growth.
What Youβll Be Working On
β’ Design and implement reliable, scalable data pipelines, web applications, and analytics solutions in AWS
β’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that deploy software, data, and infrastructure across environments
β’ Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into refined, consumable data products
β’ Partner directly with finance and actuarial stakeholders to architect solutions that meet business and technical requirements
β’ Experiment with new technologies and practices to solve complex problems creatively
β’ Collaborate with highly skilled, product-focused engineers across a global community
β’ Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical platforms
β’ Pursue technology certifications aligned with your career growth
Technical Skills & Experience (Preferred)
β’ Experience with AWS services such as CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, and S3
β’ Ability to write SQL queries and interpret data models
β’ Exposure to full-stack web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Next.js
β’ Experience with version control and automation using Git and GitHub Actions
β’ Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development
β’ Experience working with relational and NoSQL data stores
