Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with deep experience in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and reporting infrastructure. You will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Pipelines, Notebooks). • Build and manage Lakehouse architecture in Fabric with Delta tables and DirectLake access. • Develop and maintain dataflows, semantic models, and Power BI datasets for reporting and analytics. • Integrate data from multiple sources (on-prem, cloud, APIs, databases) using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines. • Use Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Synapse Analytics for data processing and modeling. • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance using Microsoft Purview and role-based access control. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and Fabric workspaces for performance and reliability. • Implement CI/CD practices for deploying Fabric artifacts using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
