Cloud Engineer

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS and Azure to support and optimize the deployment of modern cloud-native applications. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of developers who are building high-performance applications—and they need your cloud expertise to bring their work to life in production environments. This is an exciting 2-year engagement with long-term potential, where you’ll be the go-to person for building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure. 🌩️ Now Hiring: Cloud Engineer (AWS & Azure) 📍 Location: Chillicothe, IL 61523 📅 Duration: 24 Months (with strong potential for extension) 💼 Type: Full-Time Contract 💰 Competitive compensation | Cutting-edge cloud projects 🛠️ What You’ll Do • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure • Collaborate with dev teams to deploy applications using Azure DevOps pipelines • Manage AWS managed services such as EC2, RDS, S3, SNS, SQS, FSx • Configure and optimize VPCs, security groups, and other network/security layers • Assist with the deployment of Single Page Web Applications (SPAs) • Serve as the resident Cloud SME in a highly technical, fast-paced team environment ✅ What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering (internships count!) • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus) • Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and Azure DevOps • Experience in AWS Networking, VPC, and Cyber Security best practices • Familiarity with SPA frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment 🌟 Why Join Us? • Long-term project with opportunity for extension • Gain experience with a cutting-edge cloud environment • Collaborate with a forward-thinking, engineering-driven team • Make a real impact on production infrastructure
