Job Description
• Develop, deploy, and maintain processes that optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and resources
• Perform AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) management activities
• Deploy, configure, and administer AWS security infrastructure
• Perform Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory management activities
• Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft server and cloud resources
• Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation
• Work with data center staff, OIT, and users to perform resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes
• Assist Azure application owners/administrators and users with appropriate application access
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues with minimal impact on users
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux server issues with minimal impact on users
• Write PowerShell scripts to be used to monitor server properties and perform Active Directory and Azure management activities
• Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements
• Provide recommendations for possible process improvements within the Department’s infrastructure team
• Create schedules for the development and implementation of specific software system
Required Qualifications
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable.
• Three (3) or more years of AWS experience.
• Five (5) or more years of Windows server administration, including experience with three (3) or more years administering Windows 2016 and newer.
• Five (5) or more years of Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy administration experience in an enterprise environment with 1,000 or more users.
• Two (2) or more years of Microsoft Azure/Cloud experience.
• Two (2) or more years of AWS experience.
• Three (3) or more years of Linux server experience.
• Experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts.
• Experience working in a virtual server/Cloud environment; and
• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications.
