Role description
Position: Cloud Engineer Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid) Duration: Multi-Year Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours Per week Overview Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join the Enterprise Data Management & Engineering (EDME) department. The role focuses on leading and advancing Mass Health Data Modernization initiatives such as SENDPRO, Enterprise Data Catalog, and Data Processing Pipeline optimization and automation using AWS Cloud, Snowflake, and other data services. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams including data management, engineering, business analysis, quality assurance, and analytics to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and overall performance of the cloud data platform. Responsibilities Administering and supporting Cloud Database services (Snowflake), Data Platform services (Informatica Cloud IICS, Tableau, Cognos, SAS, GitHub, MOVEit MFT), designing and implementing cloud applications and AWS services, managing access and permissions, defining data security policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud data solutions. The candidate will also evaluate new cloud products, monitor performance, implement data governance processes, and ensure timely delivery of solutions. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience with AWS data solutions 5+ years with Snowflake or similar platforms experience with IICS, AWS, GitHub, and database administration as well as knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Linux scripting, and cloud network policies.
