Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Fort Washington, PA 19034 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract to Hire)
Eligibility : US Citizen / Green card Holder
Job Summary:
Seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable Microsoft Azure infrastructure. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to support hybrid environments, automate deployments, and optimize cloud operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in cloud/IT infrastructure with Azure focus
• Experience with Azure VMs, Networking, Storage, Entra ID
• Proficient in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python
• Strong grasp of Azure networking, identity, and security
• Hands-on with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
Preferred:
• Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
• Experience with Azure Firewall, App Gateway, AKS, Logic Apps
• Familiarity with Azure Arc, Azure Stack, and monitoring tools
Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
• Automate provisioning with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Monitor and optimize performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
• Implement RBAC, NSGs, Azure Policy for cloud security
• Support hybrid integrations with on-prem systems
• Integrate Azure services into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
• Manage cost and resource optimization
• Maintain cloud documentation and stay current with Azure updates
