Role description
NO C2C We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that power global hospitality operations. In this role, you will build and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure to support guest-facing platforms, reservation systems, loyalty programs, and enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital experiences, streamline hotel operations, and advance our cloud-first strategy. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud architectures supporting hospitality platforms and business applications. β€’ Partner with technology and business teams to deliver cloud-based solutions for reservations, mobile apps, loyalty systems, and property management solutions. β€’ Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and scaling using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. β€’ Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. β€’ Ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical hospitality applications through proactive monitoring and alerting. β€’ Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement cloud security best practices and meet regulatory requirements. β€’ Support the migration of legacy on-premises systems into cloud-native architectures. β€’ Document cloud standards, best practices, and operational processes to support global adoption. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). β€’ 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer. β€’ Hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. β€’ Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash). β€’ Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). β€’ Strong understanding of networking, identity management, and governance in enterprise cloud environments. β€’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. β€’ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a global team environment. Preferred Skills β€’ Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent. β€’ Experience supporting hospitality or travel industry platforms (reservation systems, loyalty programs, property management solutions). β€’ Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud strategies. β€’ Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch).
