Cloud Governance Data Analyst

Akkodis is seeking Cloud Governance Data Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Chandler, AZ - Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the banking/financial services industry. Pay Range: $72 - $77/hour – All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Description: The Cloud Governance Observability Analyst supports the buildout of the Cloud Governance observability capability by developing metrics, reporting, and data-driven insights into governance processes and outcomes. This role is a hands-on contributor responsible for working with existing tools, data sources, and teams to help establish visibility into Cloud Governance performance, including use case processing, cycle times, and control outcomes. Observability in this context leverages data such as metrics, logs, and events to provide insight into system behavior and enable more informed decision-making. The role partners closely with Cloud Governance, engineering, and PMO teams to help deliver dashboards, reporting, and analytics that support transformation execution. Strong data/analytical skills to build and leverage metrics, dashboards reporting that provide clear visibility into Cloud policy adherence. The role also demands the ability to work across teams to integrate data and integrated decision making. • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, observability, or related technical roles • Hands-on experience working with metrics, logs, or event-based data, with an understanding of how to use data to analyze system or process performance • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize, interpret, and draw insights from complex datasets • Experience building dashboards, reports, or data visualizations using BI or reporting tools • Experience working with multiple data sources, including the ability to gather, cleanse, and structure data for reporting • Ability to support the definition and tracking of performance metrics, including throughput, cycle time, and operational KPIs • Experience working in a structured environment to deliver against defined requirements, use cases, and reporting needs • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities • Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure, or distributed systems environments • Familiarity with Cloud Governance processes, such as use case intake, workflow tracking, or control-based framework • Experience with observability or monitoring tools and concepts (metrics, logs, traces, events) • Experience building or supporting automated reporting or data pipelines • Ability to translate technical data into clear, concise insights for business and leadership audience • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting requests and priorities • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve data visibility and reporting efficiency • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, helping to shape and refine reporting and observability requirements over time • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams • Experience supporting transformation initiatives or program-level reporting (preferred)¿ If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
