Cloud Migration Engineer
Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in the media and entertainment industry, is seeking a Senior Cloud Migration Engineer to support complex enterprise-scale migrations involving Box, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. You will play a critical part in a high-impact digital transformation project, working across matrixed teams and engaging with executive stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills of the right candidate:
β’ 5+ years of progressive IT experience, preferably in cloud collaboration and infrastructure.
β’ 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-level messaging and collaboration technologies.
β’ 3+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale IT migration initiatives.
β’ Strong experience with:
β’ Microsoft Migration Manager (or similar migration tools)
β’ PowerShell scripting
β’ Box custom apps, published apps, and the Box app model
β’ Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
β’ SharePoint Online and OneDrive permission models
β’ SSO integrations
β’ Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Calendar) migrations for 100+ users
β’ GCP Projects, API permissions, and domain-wide delegation
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure Graph API, and related toolsets.
β’ Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and align cross-functional teams.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsβable to interface effectively at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead enterprise-scale migrations from Box, Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Calendar, GCP Projects) to Microsoft 365 using Microsoft Migration Manager or similar tools.
β’ Perform custom application migrations from Box to Microsoft 365 leveraging the Azure Graph API.
β’ Engineer and optimize migrations of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure Active Directory, including complex permission models.
β’ Integrate and configure SSO (Single Sign-On) solutions across environments.
β’ Script automation and configuration using PowerShell and other relevant scripting languages.
β’ Analyze and manage complex migration workflows and data flows with a focus on minimal user disruption.
β’ Collaborate with internal and external teams including third-party vendors in an outsourced environment.
β’ Support GCP to Microsoft Azure Graph API migrations with a deep understanding of Google GCP Projects, API permissions, and domain-wide delegation.
β’ Provide technical guidance and strategic input to stakeholders, including executive-level presentations and communications.
