About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud-Native Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, GoLang, and ArgoCD to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications while ensuring automation, security, and reliability across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain microservices and backend systems using GoLang.
β’ Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
β’ Implement and manage ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments.
β’ Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
β’ Monitor and optimize system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
β’ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
β’ Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ 7+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production.
β’ Strong proficiency in GoLang for building microservices and automation tools.
β’ Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps practices.
β’ Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
β’ Strong experience with Docker and containerization.
β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE).
β’ Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
Nice to Have
β’ Exposure to service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways (NGINX, Envoy).
β’ Knowledge of OPA/Kyverno for Kubernetes policy enforcement.
β’ Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
β’ Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, Helm or Kustomize.
