Role description
Contract - Cloud Ops Engineer Location: Hybrid - London office and home Rate: Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35) Duration: Initial 6-month contract Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced Cloud Ops Engineer to join a Digital Transformation programme. This role requires proven hands-on technical leadership and the ability to deliver within complex environments. Key Requirements: • Deep expertise in Azure cloud platforms and services, including Azure AD, Networking, Security, and operational tooling • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates) • Skilled in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Azure DevOps) • Practical experience with monitoring and management tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) • Experience integrating cloud solutions with ITSM platforms • Strong understanding of cloud security practices and compliance with standards (ISO, GDPR) • Must demonstrate relevant examples of hands-on technical leadership in previous roles • Experience with operationalizing Azure cloud environments, including incident resolution, automation, and BAU support Details: • Initial 6-month contract • Outside IR35 • Up to £500 per day • Hybrid: 1 day per week in office (additional days for workshops) • Candidates must have full working rights and be residents of the UK - no overseas work allowed
