This fully remote opportunity is ideal for cybersecurity professionals with strong experience in cloud security, risk assessment, and compliance automation. 1. Azure Security Expertise – 5+ years of experience with Azure security architecture, cloud services, and secure configuration best practices.
1. Risk Assessment & Compliance – 3+ years of experience performing security assessments, risk analysis, and working knowledge of frameworks like NIST CSF v2.
1. Security Automation & Data Analysis – Proficiency with tools such as Azure Data Explorer (Kusto), PowerShell, or Azure Logic Apps to automate compliance workflows and analyze security telemetry.
1. Certifications – CISSP or equivalent (e.g., GIAC), plus a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or 5–7 years of relevant industry experience.
Opportunity Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a security-focused team that plays a vital role in supporting the compliance posture of cloud-based services in Azure and the Power Platform. This role offers high visibility, cross-team collaboration, and hands-on work in cybersecurity with a chance to shape enterprise-scale risk practices. You’ll gain exposure to multiple service areas while helping ensure secure, compliant, and resilient operations across the organization.
How you will make an impact:
• Conduct in-depth security and risk assessments for services on Azure and Power Platform
• Track remediation activities in the Risk Register and ensure actions are linked and closed out
• Provide hands-on remediation support and host dedicated office hours for engineering partners
• Standardize and document remediation guidance for reuse
• Analyze compliance telemetry using Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) to surface risk trends
• Automate risk tracking and remediation workflows using scripting tools or Azure automation
• Contribute to division-wide compliance campaigns aligned with corporate security priorities
• Manage work through Azure DevOps with clear status updates and documentation
The expertise you bring:
• CISSP or GIAC certification required
• 5+ years experience with Azure security services and architecture
• 3+ years in security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance programs
• 1+ year with NIST CSF v2 or comparable control frameworks
• Strong understanding of secure application development and cloud infrastructure
• Experience working with Azure Data Explorer (Kusto), PowerShell, or similar tools
• Familiarity with automation in compliance and security operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
