Job Title: Cloudflare Developer Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA (Local candidates preferred) Employment Type: Contract (Prefer US Permanent Resident) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and innovative Cloudflare Developer to design, build, and deploy high-performance applications and services on the Cloudflare Developer Platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Cloudflare Workers, Pages, and serverless web architectures, and thrives in a performance-focused environment leveraging Cloudflare’s cutting-edge edge computing capabilities. This role requires partial onsite presence in Atlanta, GA, to collaborate with the core team on development, integration, and deployment initiatives. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack serverless applications using Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages. β€’ Design and implement APIs, middleware, and edge logic to optimize performance and handle requests closer to end-users. β€’ Utilize Cloudflare storage solutions such as R2 Object Storage, KV, and D1 database for efficient data management. β€’ Implement and optimize CDN caching, DDoS protection, WAF, and security configurations using Cloudflare’s services. β€’ Integrate and configure Cloudflare services to enhance application delivery and scalability. β€’ Participate in the entire SDLC β€” from architecture design and development to testing, deployment, and support. β€’ Troubleshoot and debug technical issues involving Workers scripts and Cloudflare APIs. β€’ Write clean, well-documented code in JavaScript or TypeScript. β€’ Stay current with Cloudflare platform updates, APIs, and emerging edge computing technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications β€’ Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. β€’ Hands-on experience with Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages. β€’ Experience with serverless architectures and frameworks such as React or Next.js. β€’ Familiarity with Cloudflare KV, R2, D1, Queues, and Cloudflare’s AI developer tools. β€’ Solid understanding of HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, APIs, and web security fundamentals. β€’ Experience with DevOps tools, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. β€’ Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams. β€’ Preferably based in or near Atlanta, GA (some onsite work required). β€’ US Permanent Resident preferred.
