Cloverleaf Interface Engineer – Job Description SummaryResponsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining interfaces using the Cloverleaf Integration Engine to enable secure, reliable data exchange between clinical, financial, and operational systems. Key Responsibilities Build, configure, and support interfaces using Cloverleaf (QL, TPS, Xlate). Develop and maintain HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON, flat‑file, and API‑based integrations. Monitor interface performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Analyze requirements and translate them into technical interface specifications. Participate in upgrades, migrations, and environment maintenance. Collaborate with clinical, business, and IT teams to understand workflow and data needs. Implement interface security, logging, and error‑handling best practices. Document interface logic, operational procedures, and change control steps. Support on‑call rotation and after‑hours maintenance when needed. Required Skills & Experience Hands‑on experience with Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite (versions 6.x or 19.x+). Strong understanding of HL7 v2.x messaging; familiarity with FHIR a plus. Proficiency with Tcl scripting, Xlate development, and Cloverleaf modules. Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and basic shell scripting. Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, SFTP/FTP, web services, and API concepts. Ability to analyze data flows, troubleshoot logs, and resolve interface errors. Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare IT, EHR integration (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), or interoperability standards. Exposure to cloud hosting, containers, or CI/CD pipelines. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
