Description One of TEKsystems' Financial Services Customers are hiring three 'CMDB librarians' to join the asset and configuration management team. This team is responsible for the management of the Bank's hardware IT assets throughout their lifecycle from acquisition to retirement. We are also responsible for the creation of standard IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and oversight for adherence to the processes from our global partners. These individuals will be responsible for playing a critical part in managing data from Canada/ LATAM, Asia Pacific, Longon/ New York and Mexico operations. Roles and responsibilities: Typical Day in Role: Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery modules. Oversee data quality for hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate lifecycle, ownership, and relationship information. Conduct configuration audits and work with Technical Service Owners to remediate discrepancies and improve processes. Build and maintain CI relationships by collaborating with SMEs and Service Owners. Support the creation and maintenance of Configuration Management Plans. Work with Change Management to identify CI impacts resulting from planned changes. Lead or assist with CMDB data analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Soft Skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and vendors. - Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. - Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education - Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toronto, ON.
