Our client, a leading provider in the business intelligence sector, is seeking a Cognos Analytics Analyst to join their team. As a Cognos Analytics Analyst, you will be part of the analytics department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
• Responsible for the design, development, and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Analytics 11.x BI tool set.
• Support Cognos users by troubleshooting report issues and enhancing reports as requested.
• Use SQL and TM1 Tools to analyze source data and investigate and resolve reporting data issues.
• Work directly with business partners to gather report requirements, design, and model reporting solutions.
• Consistently collaborate with Cognos BI team members on large-scale projects and work closely with the Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1) team.
What's Needed?
• Strong understanding of data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and familiarity with relational database concepts.
• Experience with all Studios and Tools within Cognos Analytics 11.x series.
• Familiarity with Cognos security administration and Planning Analytics/TM1.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
