Role description
Title: Collibra Developer Location: McLean, VA (Onsite 5 days) Duration: 6 Months with possible extension till 2 years The client is looking for someone with a deep understanding of Collibra DQ. who can help them build out the use of it in the most effective way possible What You’ll Get to Do: β€’ Resource will be working on Collibra’s API library β€’ Use Workflow tools Connectors for the Collibra Platform β€’ Do Integration between Collibra and other systems leveraging Collibra API β€’ Integrate Applications to Collibra Data Governance Center β€’ Do partnerships with Data Management and integration leads for continuous improvement of relevant technologies and processes β€’ Apply software development best practices β€’ Use Collibra DGC Administration and Configuration β€’ Use Collibra Connect Administration and Configuration β€’ Use Collibra Development of Workflows and MuleSoft Connectors β€’ Ingest metadata from external sources into Collibra β€’ Install, upgrading and Administration of Collibra Components β€’ Setup, support, deployment & migration of Collibra Components β€’ Scheduler Setup and management β€’ Do application changes: code packages, post implementation verifications. β€’ Participate in group meetings (including Business Partners) on problem solving, decision making and implementation planning β€’ Work with business SME's and identified project stakeholders to develop requirements (functional/non-functional/operational/data quality) for Metadata Management and Data Governance Center application β€’ Implement end to end metadata, lineage and data quality solution through Collibra Support all phases of the project development lifecycle using Agile and other project methodologies. What You’ll Bring with You: β€’ 5-6 years of IT experience. Collibra experience β€’ 2-3 years of experience writing groovy script code to build workflows in Collibra β€’ Experience building API’s to interface with Collibra β€’ Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management β€’ Experience leading multiple Collibra implementations (SAAS implementation preferred) β€’ Experience with meta model design β€’ Experience and strong proficiency with workflow development tools β€’ Familiarity with code repository and version control tools (Bitbucket, etc.) β€’ Experience with REST/API and Java β€’ Background in multiple RDBMS: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgresSQL β€’ Knowledge of NoSQL Db β€’ Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced Agile development environment β€’ Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Extensive understanding in SDLC and Scrum methodologies β€’ Working knowledge of Confluence, Jira a plus β€’ Experience with Scheduling tools (e.g. Tidal) β€’ Experience in adopting Best Practices on Collibra Meta model and workflow design β€’ Experience in profiling data, understand data models, architecture and data maps β€’ Collibra certification preferred
