Job Title: Collibra Developer (Data Governance & Data Quality)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Must be local)
Compensation: $60-$70/hour
Interview Process: 2–3 rounds (WebEx + In-Person)
Overview:
A new division within SMBC is seeking a skilled Collibra Developer to support initiatives focused on Cyber Data Governance and Data Quality. This role requires hands-on expertise in Collibra platform development and data quality frameworks, along with experience working in large enterprise environments and exposure to cybersecurity-related datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement data governance solutions using the Collibra platform.
• Configure and customize Collibra workflows, integrations, and metadata models.
• Implement and manage data quality rules and monitoring using Collibra Data Quality (DQ).
• Collaborate with data stewards, analysts, and governance teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Support cyber data governance initiatives, including handling datasets related to phishing, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute data validation, testing, and quality checks across enterprise systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a large enterprise environment to align governance frameworks with business and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with Collibra development and implementation.
• Strong experience with Collibra Data Quality (DQ) tools and frameworks.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity datasets (e.g., phishing data, threat intelligence, vulnerability data).
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality practices.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience integrating Collibra with other data platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to data governance and cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
