Commercial Banking Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Commercial Banking technology initiatives focused on lending solutions, commercial real estate, and enterprise banking applications. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, improve business processes, and support application enhancements across SaaS and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms. The ideal candidate has experience working on application development projects within Commercial Banking or Real Estate Banking environments and is comfortable working in Agile teams. Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical requirements. • Support application enhancements, process improvements, and system implementations. • Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. • Create and maintain project documentation using industry-standard tools. • Work within Scrum and Kanban frameworks to manage work effectively. • Assist with testing, validation, and successful delivery of business solutions. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting application development projects. • Experience working with: • Jira • Confluence • Scrum • Kanban • Experience with CRM applications. • Commercial Banking or Real Estate Banking experience is required. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements gathering skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience creating business requirements and functional documentation. • Exposure to AI-related initiatives or solutions. • ServiceNow experience is a plus.
