About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across multiple areas of the business. This is a mostly remote position; however, candidates must reside within the Boston area and be available to attend onsite meetings as needed.
This role is ideal for an intermediate-level data professional who enjoys working with data end-to-end—from discovery and analysis to visualization and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Support data analytics initiatives including data discovery, statistical analysis, and modeling across business functions
• Identify data requirements and execute data collection, processing, cleaning, and visualization activities
• Analyze data patterns, anomalies, and trends to provide actionable insights and improve business decisions
• Partner with teams to support complex data science and big data initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate data analysis processes
• Define, document, and maintain business rules and KPIs; translate business needs into technical requirements
• Support data governance, data quality, and data management efforts to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance
What You Bring
Experience & Education
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Core Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and data management principles
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends and insights
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions

• Works independently with general to moderate supervision
• Recognized as an intermediate contributor within the analytics space
• Handles moderately complex problems using prior experience and analytical thinking
• Collaborates with team members and supports cross-functional stakeholders
