We're looking for a Commercial & Marketing Planning & Analytics Lead to strengthen data-driven decision making across our business. You'll play a key role in shaping how data informs decisions around pricing, promotions, marketing, CRM, and digital optimisation - helping us move faster, think smarter, and deliver greater impact. Working closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams, you'll lead our planning cycles, performance reporting, and analytical strategy - turning data into insight that drives member growth, retention, and efficiency. Managing a small, high-performing team, you'll combine technical depth with strategic vision: setting analytical standards, automating reporting and insight, and staying hands-on with data exploration, modelling, and validation. Key responsibilities: Leadership, Planning & Strategy β€’ Lead annual and quarterly commercial and marketing planning cycles, aligning pricing, campaigns, and channel strategy with business goals. β€’ Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and ROI tracking, ensuring resources are prioritised effectively. β€’ Define and deliver the analytics roadmap across pricing, promotions, CRM, media, and digital. β€’ Build and develop a high-performing analytics team that champions test-and-learn and robust measurement. β€’ Foster a culture of evidence-based decision making across the commercial and marketing functions. Commercial & Revenue Planning β€’ Deliver forward-looking scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support pricing and growth decisions. β€’ Optimise pricing and promotional strategies using data modelling, A/B testing, and performance evaluation. β€’ Measure the performance of new gym openings and refurbishments, assessing acquisition, retention, and ROI. β€’ Conduct competitive benchmarking to inform commercial strategy. Marketing & Media Analytics β€’ Partner with media and analytics agencies to ensure robust methodologies (MMM, incrementality testing) and reliable data pipelines. β€’ Evaluate performance across digital channels, social media, and brand metrics, providing actionable recommendations. β€’ Support CRM with test design, campaign analytics, and performance reporting. β€’ Translate complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights on spend, channel mix, and creative effectiveness. Digital Analytics & CRO β€’ Support the CRO team in ensuring all tests are statistically robust and properly analysed. β€’ Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to maintain analytics infrastructure that supports experimentation and optimisation. Reporting, Visualisation & Governance β€’ Lead the development of Power BI and Looker Studio dashboards, building automated and scalable data pipelines. β€’ Champion data visualisation and storytelling, helping teams make confident, informed decisions. β€’ Govern KPIs and data use within Commercial & Marketing, working with the Data team to ensure consistency and reliability. About you... β€’ Extensive experience in commercial, marketing, or digital analytics, ideally within subscription, retail, or multi-site consumer businesses. β€’ Strong SQL capability, confident working with large, complex datasets and automating analysis. β€’ Solid grounding in statistics, experimentation design, and incrementality measurement. β€’ Proven application of Customer Lifetime Value (CLV/LTV) in commercial decision-making. β€’ Advanced skills in Power BI (and ideally Looker Studio) for dashboarding and data storytelling. β€’ Strategic thinker
