#160042-1 Job Title: Business Analyst, Compensation Systems Location: HYBRID 3x/ week (Redmond, WA) Rate: $55-57/ HOUR Duration: Through 6/30/26 (Extension based on budget and performance) Purpose of the Role This role provides senior-level business analysis leadership for enterprise Compensation solutions, including Promotions, Rewards, and Stock programs. The Senior Business Analyst serves as the primary functional liaison across Compensation Centers of Excellence, Engineering, Payroll, Finance, and Data teams to design, validate, and deliver compliant, scalable, and auditable HR solutions within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and associated compensation platforms. Key Responsibilities • Lead requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation for compensation initiatives and promotion cycles • Translate compensation policy, regulatory requirements, and business needs into precise functional specifications and solution designs • Partner with HR Compensation, Performance and Development, Engineering, Payroll, Finance, and Data teams to ensure alignment across end to end processes • Facilitate solution design reviews, impact assessments, dependency analysis, and release planning • Define and manage User Acceptance Testing strategy, including scenario development, defect triage, and release readiness validation • Maintain data integrity, controls, and audit standards across compensation processes • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce manual effort and operational risk • Produce clear documentation, decision‑support materials, and stakeholder communications Performance Measurement • Quality and accuracy of deliverables • Ability to meet deadlines and support time‑sensitive HR initiatives • Effectiveness partnering with cross functional teams • Contribution to reducing defects and manual workarounds Unique Selling Points • Opportunity to lead solution design across high‑impact Compensation and Performance processes • Ownership of UAT strategy and execution for enterprise systems • Involvement in impact assessments and release planning during a mission‑critical HR initiative • Work in a highly collaborative environment across HR, Engineering, Finance, and Data teams Required Skills and Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field Experience • 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience • Experience supporting enterprise HR initiatives, including compensation, promotions, rewards, and performance programs • Background working with HR systems, including SAP HR and SuccessFactors Employee Central data flows Core Skills • Advanced experience with enterprise HR systems configuration, integration, and governance • Requirements gathering and end to end solution design expertise • Strong knowledge of UAT strategy, testing scenarios, defect management, and release readiness • Strong analytical capabilities, including assessment of business trends and financial impacts • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and engage cross functional stakeholders • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and enterprise applications Candidate Requirements Must Have Technical Competencies (5+ years each) • Enterprise HR systems functional expertise, with deep knowledge of HR platforms and process governance • Requirements gathering and solution design proficiency for complex business and regulatory needs • Testing, release readiness, and data governance experience, including coordination with Privacy, Compliance, and HR Operations • SAP HR and SuccessFactors Employee Central exposure, specifically related to data flows and compensation processes Best Fit Profile • Demonstrated business analysis experience supporting HR and compensation programs • Strong background across rewards, promotions, stock programs, and performance management • Proven ability to lead solution management activities such as requirements documentation, stakeholder engagement, UAT, and release planning
