We seek a Computational Scientist with deep familiarity with 3D structures, protein sequences, modern databases and system integration to support digital transformations in those areas. Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Gathering: Understand and document current structure usage (experimental & predicted), desired future goals, and what gaps exist. 1. Develop actionable strategies to address the gaps, including systematic data capture and integration with systems throughout the structure lifecycle. 1. Identify blockers of efficient structure usage (e.g. bad PDB format, missing metadata, lack of access, etc) and implement solutions to remove the blockers. 1. Work closely with computational scientists and data product teams to develop operational, efficiently searchable, and integrated databases and data products for AI model training and other use cases. 1. Propose and implement solutions to streamline data capture and access to enable both interactive and agentic use cases. Skills & Education: 1. Science: Structural biology; PDB database and format; structure prediction, QC and search; experimental structure methods (X-ray Crystallography, Cryo-EM); antibody discovery; protein engineering; NGS sample prep and data analysis; Illumina MiSeq; high-throughput antibody screening.Knowledge of ENPICOM, Benchling, and Schrodinger LiveDesign preferred. 1.
