Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking aConfiguration Data Management Engineer - Experienced, Lead or Senior - to join the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) team in Huntsville, AL. Boeing Huntsville has multi-year contracts to develop, manufacture, and test the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile seeker and future improvements. These contracts are driving significant, long-term growth for the PAC-3 engineering team on the Huntsville campus. Duties will include but not limited to: β€’ Perform technical check of complex engineering data to verify that engineering, partner, and/or supplier product definition data (e.g., bill of material, geometry, digital models) meets procedural and system requirements. β€’ Define, document and interpret product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes. β€’ Develop, document and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and maintain configuration control. β€’ Communicates requirements to coworkers/customers regarding procedures, processes, and tools that support the preparation, release, and interpretation of product definition data. β€’ Track, reconcile discrepancies and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements. β€’ Support audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements. β€’ Assist with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes. This position is for A (1st) Shift. M-Th; 4x10 This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): β€’ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): β€’ Change Management experience β€’ NDIA certification or equivalent CM Certification β€’ Experience Engineer Release Tools Metrics and chart generation experience β€’ Engineering Drawings and Model Based Design and Model Based Instruction knowledge Typical Education/Experience: β€’ Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. β€’ Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. β€’ Level 5: Typically, 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
