Consultant Data Officer (Interim)
• Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35)
• Rate: £700 - £900 PD
• London: Hybrid x3 days onsite Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Officer to join our clients team on an interim basis (approximately 6 months). This role provides a unique opportunity to support a global brand to enhance their data and digital capabilities within an enterprise level environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Data Officer will play a key role in shaping the future of the data strategy and ensuring the effective delivery of data-driven insights across the organisation.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Support the Data / Digital function in its day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
• Assess current data capabilities and contribute to the development of a structured framework for data management
• Drive the Data / Digital strategy, including overseeing audits and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Support the target operating model development and provide recommendations for future data management approaches
• Deliver high-quality analysis and insights to inform organisational decision-making
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational priorities
• Contribute to a culture of data excellence by promoting best practices and standards across teams Skills and Experience:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams
• Curious and thoughtful approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working collaboratively in a matrix organisation, managing multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly
