Container Engineer with Openshift

Akkodis is seeking a Container Engineer for Contract (W2) with a client in Plano TX/ Jersey City, NJ/Pennington, NJ - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week). Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Container, Container Platform, OpenShift, Terraform Devops [CICD] AWS (must), Azure, Linux and DevOps. Pay Range: $68 -$70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. The Container Engineer role will be responsible for the Design and Operational Requirements in moving applications to a Container Platform, notably Openshift. Container Engineer will interface with Development, Architecture, and Container Platform Teams to analyze requirements and support Container onboarding for mission critical applications. AWS Terraform, Devops experience; Experience with the Linux Operating System (configurations and parameters); ; Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Information Systems Related) + 10 years of field experience, or Master's Degree equivalent + 7 years of field experience. minimum 3+ years of hands on experience on Terraform Devops [CICD] AWS (must), Azure (desired) • Excellent written + verbal communication skills; Experience with spreadsheet design toolsets (Excel; Visio; Sharepoint; Confluence); Technical aptitude; Comfortable participating in/driving technical project discussions; requirements analysis; triage/troubleshooting skillset.
