Role description
Contract Analytics Engineer (3–4 Month Engagement) Location: Remote (EST hours preferred) Duration: 3–4 months Start: ASAP Engagement Type: Contract (C2C preferred) Overview We are seeking a senior Contract Analytics Engineer to support a company transitioning from startup to scale-up. This role will focus on accelerating core data initiatives while covering a team member on parental leave and helping mature the overall data platform. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain a unified customer / client data model across multiple source systems • Design and implement analytics engineering pipelines using Snowflake and DBT • Improve data quality, governance, and lineage to support scalable analytics • Strengthen backend data platform architecture, including roles, permissions, and access controls • Operate independently in a fast-moving environment and deliver with minimal oversight Required Skills & Experience • Strong Analytics Engineering background • Advanced SQL • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT • Experience integrating disparate data sources into a single source of truth • Proven experience implementing data governance, access controls, and data quality practices • Comfortable working in a startup / scale-up environment Engagement Details • Contract-only role (not positioned as contract-to-hire) • C2C (Corp-to-Corp) preferred; candidates must be eligible to contract through their own entity or an approved vendor • Fully remote; must be able to work primarily Eastern Time hours • Duration: 3–4 months, with potential extension based on performance and business need
