Description Of Duties
โข Gather requirements from internal software developers to learn what build or test jobs are needed
โข Design, develop, debug and test continuous integration system build or test jobs based upon requirements
โข Create concise, easy to read documents to facilitate efficient software development
โข Modifies and maintains existing code
โข Produces production-ready code to defined specifications with assistance and review from more senior engineers
โข Debugs own code
โข Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems for development and server applications
โข Participates in the testing process through test strategy and test plan review, use-case testing, review and analysis
โข Learns how to collaborates with peer groups and other teams across Nintendo
Summary Of Requirements
โข Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
โข Strong problem solving and debugging skills
โข Knowledge and understanding of software product development, related tools and testing paradigms
โข Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux configuration
โข Experience with one of the following programming languages: C# (Preferred), Java, Python, or equivalent
โข Experience with one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, or equivalent
โข Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
โข Experience with continuous integration software (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, Buildbot) a plus
โข Experience with infrastructure creation & maintenance (VMs, Containers, Cloud-based infrastructure) a plus
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This contract position has a base pay range of $47.03 - $70.55 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms.
