Job Description
Longbridge Financial (LBF) is adding to our team a Contract Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This Contract role will play an integral part of our existing team with the potential opportunity to joining LBF on a full-time basis.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in a meaningful way that is utilized to make critical business decisions.
Works closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop Tableau reports that support organizational goals.
Analyze business data to identify trends and insights to define reporting requirements.
Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering required
5+ years of experience as a dedicated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst required
Advanced Tableau architecture/development skills required
High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
Previous experience with MS PowerBI is a plus
Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook
Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations
Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications
Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions
A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to work with business owners in identifying reporting and dashboard requirements
Exemplary oral and written communications skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical community
