Contract Developer

🚀 Contract Senior .NET Developer | 3–6 Months | £400–£500/day | Hybrid (Remote + Lytham) We're looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join an established Agile development team on an initial 3–6 month contract. The objective is simple: increase the delivery capacity and output of the engineering team. You'll be hands-on from day one, helping shape user stories, delivering robust software, mentoring where appropriate, and driving technical excellence. 📍 Location • First week based in Blackpool/Lytham St Annes for onboarding • After that, primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits as required 💷 Rate £400–£500 per day (outside IR35 to be confirmed) You'll bring: • Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET • Blazor and ASP.NET Core • Web APIs and SQL Server / Entity Framework Core • Azure Functions, Service Bus and CI/CD pipelines • Experience working in Agile delivery teams • A proactive approach to improving engineering quality and team throughput Bonus points for: • Experience with AWS S3 • Postman/JMeter • AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) • Utilities or other highly regulated industries This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a fast-moving delivery team that needs an experienced contractor to help accelerate software delivery. 📩 If you're available soon and interested, please get in touch with your CV and availability.
