An exciting creative agency in London is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to drive innovation across audience strategy, insight, and prototype tooling. • Location: London • Office Policy: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) • Contract Length: 6 months • Start Date: ASAP • Salary: £90k Pro Rata or Day Rate Inside IR35 The Job • Lead development and maintenance of machine learning, LLM, and AI prototype tools • Own end-to-end design and deployment across computer vision, NLP, and deep learning use cases • Work with Python, GCP, SQL, Docker, FastAPI, HuggingFace, PyTorch and more • Collaborate with strategists to translate briefs into data-driven solutions • Explore innovative data applications, from image/audio features to creative performance • Build data pipelines and visual outputs for Tableau, Power BI or bespoke JS tools • Manage junior Data Scientists and Analysts, providing technical leadership and mentoring • Support strategy and revenue goals through tool development and performance insight • Collaborate with wider tech teams across the agency group to scale high-impact tools You • Strong data science background with hands-on experience in ML, NLP, LLMs, and deep learning • Comfortable working with ambiguity and creating structure from open briefs • Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with modern cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP • Proven ability to manage and mentor junior team members • Bonus: academic background (Masters or PhD) or experience in creative, cultural, or behavioural fields Apply Now If you're interested and meet the brief, send your CV to Sphere Digital Recruitment is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
