Data Analyst - Healthcare St Louis, MO (Remote) Long Term Contract Job Details: β€’ Supported the design, build, and maintenance of Cerner PowerChart tools, including Ambulatory Organizer, Message Center, Dynamic Worklist, and Referral Management. β€’ Developed complex CCL scripts for custom rules, reports, and alerts, enhancing clinical decision support and streamlining clinic operations. β€’ Configured Discern Rules to automate workflow processes, particularly logic-based alerts triggered when providers add new problems or diagnoses. β€’ Optimized integration points between Cerner EHR and ancillary systems using HL7 interfaces and FHIR standards for seamless data exchange. β€’ Collaborated with cross-functional teams (clinical, IT, ancillary departments) to design and implement tailored Cerner solutions meeting specific clinical requirements. β€’ Created and maintained clinical rules, reports, and alerts in partnership with healthcare informatics teams to streamline outpatient clinic operations. β€’ Implemented effective patient depart/discharge processes and patient education programs within the EHR, improving care continuity. β€’ Utilized 724 Downtime Viewer and contingency workflows to ensure critical clinic operations continued smoothly during system downtimes. β€’ Collaborated with Scheduling, Registration, and ancillary departments (Lab, Medical Imaging, Pharmacy) to design, build, and troubleshoot end-to-end clinic workflows and integration points.
