Contract Sr Data Analyst

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract Sr Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization. This role is critical in helping our organization make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives. • Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and improve decision-making processes. • Create comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop data-driven strategies. • Conduct in-depth statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support data-driven decision making. • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data analysis efficiency and accuracy. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data analysis and machine learning. • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex analytical projects. • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases. • Advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis using Python or R. • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their practical applications in business contexts. • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their implementation in real-world scenarios. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about complex data challenges. • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes. • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools. • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
