Role description
Position: Contracts & Data Analyst (Hybrid)
Location: Astoria, NY 10009
Duration: 6 months to start, with intent to extend up to 1 year
Pay Rate: $25/hr - $27/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday β Friday, 7:30 AM β 3:00 PM (40 hours/week, overtime as needed)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite after training)
Relocation Expenses/ Assistance: NO
About the Role
We are seeking a Contracts & Data Analyst to support operations. This role involves tracking and managing contracts, analyzing spending and funding, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with both internal teams and external buyers.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Track approximately 85 active contracts, ensuring visibility of start and expiration dates, funding availability, and pace of spend.
β’ Maintain communication with operating groups on contract usage and availability.
β’ Draft scopes of work for re-bids, funding increases, and contract additions (e.g., line items).
β’ Liaise with Supply Chain and buyers on contract-related activities.
β’ Prepare accurate documentation, monitor usage, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Proficiency with OneDrive, Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Office Suite.
β’ Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable with outreach calls.
β’ Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
Preferred / Flex Skills
β’ Strong data analytics capability.
β’ Experience collaborating with external buyers.
Team & Environment
β’ Department size: 15 team members.
β’ Daily interaction with ~5 team members and regular collaboration with 10β20 buyers.
