Copilot Adoption Engineer/Architect
Copilot Enablement, Global Banking Organisation
6 month contract, London based, 5 days per week on site
Up to £750 per day inside IR35
Working for a global banking organisation within messaging and collaboration, the role has a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot enablement and governance, ensuring AI-driven productivity tools are deployed securely, responsibly, and at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical enablement of Microsoft Copilot, including readiness assessments, data access controls, licencing considerations, and service configuration.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, and Data teams to ensure Copilot is deployed in line with regulatory risk, and responsible AI requirements.
• Monitor Copilot usage, performance, and adoption, making recommendations to optimise value while manage risk.
• Serve as a technical authority for Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of complex Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Define and maintain technical standards, patterns, and documentation.
• Enable and govern Microsoft Copilot, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
• Act as a Tier-3/4 escalation point for complex incidents, providing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and maintain high technical standards across the organisation.
Experience & Skills Required:
Essential:
• Hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Copilot enablement at scale in a corporate environment
• 5–10+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, messaging, or collaboration roles.
• Proven experience in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Strong technical authority in large-scale messaging and collaboration environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and identity federation experience.
• Experience in regulated environments, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and governance.
Desirable:
• Copilot certification - AB-900 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to hybrid or legacy messaging environments and platform modernisation program

• Knowledge of Exchange Online Protection, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, email security gateways, and Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager and Zero Trust security architectures.
