Location: MN-Oak Park Heights, Hybrid 1-2 days onsite

As a Copilot Engineer, you will join the Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities
• Copilot Design and Engineering
• Design and configure Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences aligned to defined business use cases
• Build, test, and maintain Copilot Studio agents, including prompts, skills, actions, and connectors
• Develop reusable prompt patterns and templates that are safe, effective, and enterprise‑ready
• Integrate Copilot with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Platform, and approved line‑of‑business systems
• Data and Context Engineering
• Ensure Copilot outputs are grounded in accurate, relevant, and authoritative enterprise data
• Validate data access paths used by Copilot and agents
• Security, Compliance, and Risk Management
• Implement security and compliance guardrails including access controls, sensitivity labels, DLP, and retention policies
• Participate in security and privacy reviews for Copilot agents, connectors, and integrations
• Ensure Copilot solutions align with Legal, Privacy, Records, and Information Security requirements
• Enforce responsible AI practices and usage constraints
• Governance and Lifecycle Management
• Support definition and execution of Copilot governance standards and operating models
• Manage agent lifecycle including ownership, versioning, approvals, and retirement
• Help prevent agent sprawl and unmanaged AI usage through controls and standards
• Align Copilot engineering practices with existing M365 and Power Platform governance
• Enablement and Adoption
• Support pilot programs and phased Copilot rollouts
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and troubleshooting for Copilot and agent issues
• Collaborate with training and enablement teams to educate users and builders
• Translate technical capabilities into clear, role‑based usage guidance
• Measurement and Value Realization
• Support leadership reporting and ROI discussions related to Copilot investments
• Provide recommendations on scaling or pausing solutions based on results
Qualifications
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Hands‑on experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
• Experience building or configuring Copilot Studio agents or similar AI‑driven assistants
• Solid understanding of information security, data protection, and enterprise compliance fundamentals
• Ability to translate business problems into technical Copilot solutions
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise AI governance or platform enablement
• Familiarity with Azure integrations, APIs, or custom connectors
• Experience supporting large‑scale M365 deployments or Copilot rollouts
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $185,000 or the hourly equivalent.
