β’ Architect solutions using Copilot Studio with appropriate connectors, actions, and Power Platform components.
β’ Development and Configuration
β’ Build copilots/agents in Copilot Studio, including topics, actions, plugins, orchestration, and generative answers.
β’ Implement integrations via Power Automate flows, Power Apps components, Dataverse, and Microsoft Graph/first-party connectors.
β’ Create and manage data connections, environment variables, and solution packages for ALM.
β’ Data, Security, and Governance

β’ Partner with InfoSec to ensure adherence to enterprise security, data residency, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Quality and Operations
β’ Establish test plans, telemetry, and analytics to measure adoption, accuracy, containment, and ROI.
β’ Perform prompt tuning, topic refinement, and continuous improvement based on user feedback and analytics.
β’ Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles; support UAT and production release cycles.
β’ Stakeholder Engagement
β’ Work with product owners, SMEs, and engineering to prioritize backlogs and deliver iterative releases.
β’ Conduct demos, training, and enablement for business users and citizen developers.
β’ Provide technical guidance on platform best practices and patterns.
Qualifications
Required
β’ Hands-on experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) or comparable conversational AI platforms.
β’ Strong Power Platform skills: Power Automate (cloud flows), Power Apps (Canvas/Model-driven), Dataverse, solution management/ALM.
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem: Microsoft Graph, Azure AD/Entra ID, API permissions/consent, Azure Functions/Logic Apps (nice to have).
β’ Solid understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval/grounding, and responsible AI concepts.
β’ Experience integrating with enterprise systems via connectors, REST APIs, webhooks, and custom connectors.
β’ Familiarity with environment strategy, DLP, security roles, and governance in Power Platform.
β’ Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
β’ Experience with complex agent orchestration, tool calling/actions, and multi-turn conversational design.
β’ Background in .NET/TypeScript/Power Fx; ability to build custom connectors and lightweight services.
β’ Knowledge of analytics/telemetry: Power BI, Application Insights, Copilot Studio analytics.
β’ Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector) and associated compliance controls.
β’ Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400), Functional Consultant (PL-200), Power Platform Solution Architect (PL-600), Azure AI Engineer (AI-102) or equivalent.
Success Metrics
β’ Time-to-value: cycle time from ideation to pilot/production.
β’ Adoption and containment rate; user satisfaction (CSAT).
