CPQ/ Q2C Business Analyst- Need Local to Santa Clara, California

Title: Business Analyst with CPQ /Q2C Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) Duration: C2C Job Description: • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to thoroughly understand and document product requirements. • Support Product Managers in improving scoping and effort estimation for new product and service initiatives. • Document cross-functional business requirements and translate them into clear, detailed user stories. • Develop and standardize processes, templates, and playbooks for Product Management teams. • Facilitate alignment and secure consensus from cross-functional leaders on business needs. • Capture both strategic and tactical product goals, ensuring traceability across teams and alignment with organizational metrics. • Define and map end-to-end business processes that span across functions, including interactions with customers, suppliers, and external systems, along with associated roles, resources, and controls. • Partner with QA teams to leverage automation (e.g., regression testing) and enhance overall quality prior to UAT. • Work with business stakeholders and Product Managers to define UAT test scenarios. • Lead UAT execution, coordinating between business testers and development teams. • Document test results and ensure timely completion and approval of UAT activities. Required Skills • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Product Owner. • Strong background in process documentation, automation, and digital transformation within CPQ or Quote-to-Cash domains. • Experience in modeling business processes using various tools and techniques. • Hands-on expertise in the CPQ/Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. • Proficiency in writing user stories and translating business requirements into actionable development items. • Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring clear communication of needs, constraints, and strategies on both sides. Must-Have Skills • Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA. • Experience with Salesforce and Steelbrick CPQ is strongly preferred. • Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development. • Ability to identify structural or cross-functional process issues and redundancies. • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, including written, verbal, and visual communication. • Strong understanding of business strategy, enterprise processes, and enabling technologies. • Collaborative team player with the ability to guide stakeholders toward consensus. • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Suite). Good to Have • PMP or Scrum certifications. Education • Bachelor’s or college degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
