Role description
Global Credit Risk COO team is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated individual.
β’ Job responsibilities will include: Reporting & Management Analytics
β’ Perform standardized and ad hoc data analytics on trade, portfolio, counterparty, country, issuer, and other concentration reporting
β’ Efficiently summarize data and findings to Senior Management
β’ Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Analytics teams to ensure data completeness and accuracy in a timely manner
β’ Policy Development, Administration & Audit
β’ Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for the global department
β’ Support credit rating models and validations
β’ Manage credit review schedule
β’ Assist with Audit & Regulatory inquiries
β’ Department Business Analyst
β’ Manage large IT projects for the global department (e.g., workflow tools, system migrations)
β’ Capture business requirements and produce clear, actionable BRDs for technical team consumption; document procedures (current and proposed), policies, and technical workflows (using MS Visio)
β’ Perform analysis and solutions around data sources
β’ Assist Project Managers with presentations, minutes, and updating project plans (MS Projects)
β’ Testing, troubleshooting, solutioning, and debugging production and QA issues
β’ Partner with technical teams and owning delivery of development items
Required Background/Skills:
β’ 3+ years of relevant experience in Counterparty Credit Risk or related fields
β’ Bachelorβs Degree required; Masterβs Degree preferred
β’ Ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize complex and large data sets for Management
β’ Highly organized individual able to produce and maintain documentation and follow processes
β’ Project Management background; ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
β’ Strong communications skills
β’ Product knowledge is preferred (Fixed Income, FX, and Equity markets, Securities & Margin Finance)
β’ Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills
β’ VBA and Python programming skills are preferred
