CS Data Analyst (Tableau & SQL Expert) Role: Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst Duration: 6 Months (Contract) Location: Plano, TX (Onsite) Rate: $75.00/hr (W2 only, we are unable to support C2C) Role Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Data Analyst with deep expertise in Tableau and SQL to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing impactful, engaging dashboard solutions that drive customer service strategy. You will be responsible for creating interactive visualizations that transform massive datasets into actionable business stories. Top Skills Required • Tableau: Expert-level dashboarding and storytelling. • SQL: Advanced querying and data manipulation. • Data Modeling: Designing scalable solutions for complex datasets. Core Responsibilities • Agile Development: Follow agile principles to develop and deploy cutting-edge Data Products and Proof of Concepts (POCs) using massive structured and unstructured datasets. • Data Engineering & Analysis: Write code to clean, munge, and analyze terabytes of data. Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and debug machine learning models with ease. • Visualization: Craft "jaw-dropping" Tableau dashboards that inform strategic leadership decisions. • Collaboration: Interface with PMs and Data Engineers to acquire data sources, design solutions for the Data Lake, and ensure automation in data pipelines where applicable. • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all products undergo thorough testing and meet the highest quality standards. Maintain rigorous documentation and adhere to established coding standards. Requirements & Qualifications • Education: BS or MS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics. • Experience: 5–9 years of total experience, with 3–6 years specifically within Customer Service operations (Consumer Products, Retail, Tech, Telecom, or Finance). • Big Data Expertise: 2–4 years of experience in Big Data environments (Hive/Spark) handling high-volume (1TB+) and high-dimensionality (500+ variables) data. • Technical Stack: Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, Spark, or R) to deploy data products into production. • Tools: Expert knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for project planning and tracking.
