As a CW Engineer on the Runtime Engineering team, youβll help develop and support critical platforms and tools used by service delivery teams to operate reliable, large-scale production systems across both cloud and on-premises environments. Youβll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative engineering culture focused on scalability, automation, and performance.Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain tools that support production systems at scale.
β’ Build strong working relationships across teams and global locations.
β’ Analyze and enhance existing software implementations.
β’ Estimate and deliver new feature implementations.
β’ Maintain and create documentation for runbooks, processes, and best practices.
β’ Participate in decision-making with a focus on analytical, commercial, and creative solutions.
β’ Collaborate within a cross-functional team and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.
β’ Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a dynamic environment.
Required Experience:
β’ B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
β’ Experience with TypeScript, React JS, and Express.
β’ Strong background in Linux-based development, shell scripting, and Python.
β’ Microservice development using Java and Spring Boot.
β’ Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins, BitBucket, Chef, Ansible, PowerShell.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
β’ Background in fintech or investment banking environments.
β’ Understanding of compute, storage, firewalls, and networking fundamentals.
β’ Exposure to AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
β’ Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
β’ Prior experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
