Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy solutions in a .Net environment based on a set of LOB requirements • Work with both IIS servers and in Kubernetes (containers) environments • Translate the services API into a usable function on the UI with their knowledge of Angular • Utilize extensive Agile experience to manage sprint deliverables and communicate any risks or impediments at daily stand ups, and be comfortable with participating in joint sessions/working groups to discuss technical solutions within an integrated team dispersed across the globe geographically • Utilize skills to build new features and enhance PowerPoint add-ons • Look at legacy code, and integrate it with new features • Focus on code quality via unit testing, or integration testing • Role does not involve client interactions, but the candidate should be comfortable conversing with stakeholders in the LOB Requirements: • .NET Framework • C# • HTML/CSS (UI/UX) • Kubernetes using Docker or OpenShift • Angular (or similar modern JavaScript frameworks) • Entity Framework • SQL Server and/or Oracle Database • Aspose.NET • Microsoft VSTO for PowerPoint (C#/VB.NET) • Microsoft WinForms / WPF form (C#/VB.NET) • Jira/GitHub Desired skills: • XLR release tool • ALM and or Quartz test tools • VBA • Microsoft MVC Pay range: $48.85 - $56.85 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
