Cyber Hygiene Engineer

Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Cyber Hygiene Engineer in their Jacksonville, FL location. Conduct regular audits, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. • Training & Awareness: Promote cyber hygiene best practices by leading training sessions and providing resources to strengthen security awareness across teams. • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to refine cyber hygiene practices, incorporating lessons learned and staying current with emerging threats and standards. • Metrics & Reporting: Develop and present detailed reports on cyber hygiene initiatives, risk levels, and compliance, supporting management-level decision-making. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in hygiene practices, vulnerability management, and configuration management • Strong knowledge of network and system security, along with vulnerability management frameworks • Experience with patch management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tools (e.g., Tanium, Tenable, Prisma, etc.) • Hands-on experience with both cloud security (Azure, GCP) and on-premises security controls • Expertise in system hardening, secure configuration management, and automation • Skills That Will Help You Excel • Detail-Oriented: Able to identify subtle risks and vulnerabilities that others may overlook • Team-Oriented: Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams including developers, IT, and security experts • Proactive: Forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate challenges and take preventive action • Adaptable: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment and open to new tools, technologies, and methods
