Role description
Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Cyber Hygiene Engineer in their Jacksonville, FL location.

Responsibilities:
• Cyber Hygiene Strategy & Implementation: Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity hygiene processes, policies, and procedures across the organization, including secure configuration management, patching, vulnerability management, and end-to-end risk mitigation.
• Security Architecture & Design: Partner with engineering teams to design and implement secure infrastructure that aligns with cybersecurity best practices.
• Vulnerability Management: Oversee the full vulnerability management lifecycle—from identification and remediation to reporting—ensuring timely and effective patching of critical vulnerabilities.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conduct regular audits, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Training & Awareness: Promote cyber hygiene best practices by leading training sessions and providing resources to strengthen security awareness across teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to refine cyber hygiene practices, incorporating lessons learned and staying current with emerging threats and standards.
• Metrics & Reporting: Develop and present detailed reports on cyber hygiene initiatives, risk levels, and compliance, supporting management-level decision-making.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in hygiene practices, vulnerability management, and configuration management
• Strong knowledge of network and system security, along with vulnerability management frameworks
• Experience with patch management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tools (e.g., Tanium, Tenable, Prisma, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with both cloud security (Azure, GCP) and on-premises security controls
• Expertise in system hardening, secure configuration management, and automation
