Role description
The Cybersecurity Risk Reporting Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the bank's cybersecurity risk metrics, reporting, and analysis functions. This role focuses on vulnerability management reporting, data analysis, metric validation, and executive-level reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and improve cybersecurity risk data while supporting reporting initiatives for senior leadership, board members, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and validate cybersecurity risk and vulnerability management data from multiple stakeholders and business units.
• Review, test, and verify data accuracy, identifying inconsistencies and implementing corrective actions to improve data quality.
• Perform data analysis on large datasets to identify trends, risks, and reporting insights.
• Support and enhance existing reporting processes through automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain recurring cybersecurity risk metrics and reporting packages.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting materials for VP/SVP leadership, Board of Directors, and regulatory audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide recommendations for reporting enhancements and metric optimization.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, Information Security, or Risk Management environments.
• 4+ years of experience creating and maintaining reports using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions.
• 4+ years of experience developing presentation materials and reporting decks for senior executives using PowerPoint.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
• 2+ years of project coordination or project management experience.
• Strong experience gathering business requirements and working with stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
