About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Sales Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. This hybrid role is pivotal in both driving sales success and contributing to the design, development, and implementation of our cutting-edge security solutions. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales efforts, including demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and client presentations, while also playing a key role in building and enhancing our security product offerings. This involves designing, developing, and testing security solutions that ensure high standards of protection, scalability, and efficiency, with a focus on automation, integration, and policy creation.
Sales Enablement & Support:
โข Serve as the technical expert during the sales process, understanding client needs and translating them into compelling solutions.
โข Conduct engaging and effective product demonstrations tailored to specific client requirements.
โข Build strong relationships with sales teams and provide ongoing technical support and training.
โข Contribute to the development of sales collateral, including technical documentation and presentations.
Security Solution Development & Implementation:
โข Develop and deploy scripts for automated responses to security alerts, incidents, and security controls using Powershell & Bash.
โข Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations for integrating new security technologies, including EDRs, vulnerability scanning tools, and patch management solutions.
โข Design, test, and implement security policies for applications or software that may pose risks, as detected by the software inventory module.
โข Implement and add new products or platforms such as EDR, XDR, Vulnerability Scanner.
โข Perform comparative PoC evaluations of security modules against other industry solutions.
โข Build and maintain testing infrastructure to validate security developments and policies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
โข Provide Level 3 support escalation for complex product-related technical issues.
โข Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence to enhance security capabilities.
โข Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and security automation standards.
โข Keep up with industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of security strategies and tools.
Requirements
โข 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical sales, security product development, or a similar field.
โข Proficient English skills. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
โข Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
โข Experience with Operating Systems Linux and Windows.
โข Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
โข Strong understanding of security frameworks, incident response, and security operations.
โข Hands-on experience with EDR solutions, vulnerability management tools, and security policy enforcement.
โข Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
โข Experience in security product development or security orchestration and automation.
